Bringing Asia closer

Leveraging the strengths of two of the world’s most iconic airlines, the new Qantas and Cathay Pacific codeshare agreement is a win for customers across Australia and Asia. New codeshare with KLM

We’ve partnered with KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, the flag carrier of the Netherlands, in a new codeshare agreement. You can now earn Qantas Points and Status Credits when travelling on the Qantas-coded flights between Singapore and Amsterdam. Eligible customers will also be able to access the KLM Lounge in Amsterdam, in addition to our lounges in Australia and Singapore.

Qantas and Alaska Airlines tail fins

Alaska Airlines network expansion

You can now earn and redeem points on even more flights across the US through our expanded codeshare partnership with Alaska Airlines.

These codeshare services connect to Qantas’ existing Sydney-San Francisco service and new Melbourne-San Francisco service, as well as Qantas’ daily direct flights to Los Angeles from Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.

Travel to Singapore just got easier

Due to changes in Singapore’s Frequent Traveller Program, Australian passport holders will now find it even easier to gain entry into Singapore. With registry now open to those that visit Singapore at least twice in a 24 month period, fast-track clearance allows the use of automated lanes and removes the need for passenger cards.

E-passport gates to open up to Australians in Heathrow

Australians arriving in Heathrow will soon get through customs faster, with access to the e-passport gates opening up to Australians in the near future. Currently, only eligible registered travellers can use the electronic gates.
