What is the main airport called?

Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport (DFW). Also known as DFW Airport, is the primary international airport serving the Dallas–Fort Worth area in the U.S. state of Texas. Downtown Dallas is 32km from the airport.

Arriving in Dallas

The helpful staff at Dallas Airport will be greet you when you land. Once you collect your bags from the arrivals area, there are a number of different transport options available to get you on your way.

Getting into Dallas from Dallas-Fort Worth Airport

Getting to and from Dallas Airport is easy with all the different transportation options available. The quickest way to get to Dallas is using public transport on the DART train. Rental cars are a great way to get around the region, with many major rental companies operating from the airport. A taxi service is available on the lower level of terminals, A,B,C,D and E. Passenger pick-up for courtesy vehicles is located at the lower level curbside of each terminal. Shared ride providers are located at the lower level curbside of each terminal with Uber, Lyft, WING and Alto. Limousines and charters buses are also available to get you to your destination.

Getting around Dallas

Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) light rail is the best way to get around Dallas. DART connects you to most of Dallas' entertainment districts, Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center Dallas, American Airlines Center, DFW International and Love Field airports, as well as Trinity Railway Express (TRE). The Dallas Streetcar connects Oak Cliff and Bishop Arts to Dallas Union Station in Downtown Dallas. Streetcars runs every 20 minutes. It’s also possible to hire a car, hail a taxi, book a ride share service from Uber, Lyft, WING or Alto. Additionally, there is the bus network that services the city.

What is the main airport called? 

Auckland Airport (AKL). The airport is a major airline hub in New Zealand and there are many domestic and international destinations for visitors to continue on to.  The airport is located near Mangere,  21 kilometres south of the Auckland city centre. 

Baggage allowance

 Passengers on Qantas flights from Auckland are allocated checked baggage If you need more luggage, you can purchase an additional baggage allowance online prior to departure.      

Checking in 

Ensure you check-in online or via the Qantas App before you arrive at the airport from 24 hours before departure.
