While homes-as-accommodation continue to rise in popularity, the hybrid hotel hasn’t yet had its heyday. A by Adina Sydney, in the true heart of the CBD, is living proof that the luxury of a hotel and the intimacy of home can be seamlessly merged. Read on for the full review.

Alongside the homey convenience of kitchenettes and pod-powered coffee machines, A by Adina Sydney’s sleek rooms reach beyond the requisite with thoughtful touches such as Dreamcatcher beds, designer teapots and indulgent Hunter Lab amenities. Even the killer hotel bar, Dean and Nancy on 22, has a warmth about it (even if it does seem a little like a backdrop to a scene from Mad Men). Staying here feels a little like coming home.
