Given its location, it's no wonder that much of Vancouver's appeal comes from its natural pursuits. Want to become a local without the hassle of moving? Then become an honorary 'Vancouverite' by completing the Grouse Grind - a 850m alpine climb on the North Shore. Don't worry, your tired legs can get a cable car back down.
