When to visit

The best time to visit Belfast is during the warmer months of May to October. Rain is still likely, but you'll have a better chance of seeing the attractions. Spring is a lovely time to visit Belfast to avoid the crowds while taking advantage of the warmer days. The Botanic Gardens begin to bloom as the temperature warms up. Summer (July and August) is a great time to join in the festivals. Winter is very chilly and rainy, though it’s a good time to enjoy the Belfast Christmas Market.
