Bendigo is 153km north of Melbourne up the Calder Freeway, so the option to arrive by car with around a 90 minute drive from Melbourne Airport.

Getting into Bendigo

The Bendigo Airport Service connects Bendigo with the airport, which is a quick and convenient option. Alternatively, you may wish to pre-book a hire car at the airport to explore the area at your leisure. Taxis, coaches and buses are also available options to get you to Bendigo.

Getting around Bendigo

Various public transport options are available for travelling within Bendigo, including taxis, car and truck rental, bus services, Uber, trams and coaches. Bus services in the area comprehensive and depart from the Bendigo Station for the CBD and then on to connecting services to surrounding suburbs. Another option is the Bendigo Talking Tram tour, that operates daily and is a tourist attraction or cycling is a scenic way to get around.
