Temperatures in spring range from 22°C to 32°C, making it a great time to visit the attractions, dine al fresco or play a round of golf. July is the hottest month, averaging around 41°C, though you can keep cool poolside or shop in the airconditioned malls.

Las Vegas Airport (LAS). Officially known as Harry Reid International Airport is an international airport in Paradise, Nevada, and is the main Las Vegas in the US. The airport is located about 8km south of downtown Las Vegas.

Arriving in Las Vegas

The staff at Las Vegas will greet you when you land and assist with your needs. Once you collect your bags from the arrivals area, there are various transport options available to get you on your way.

Getting into Las Vegas from Las Vegas Airport 

Getting to Las Vegas from the airport is easy with various transport options available. Choose from public transport, taxis, app-based ride services, shuttle, rental cars or limousines. By bus, from terminal 1 take the public bus route 108 or 109 with the bus stop located on level zero down from the baggage claim area. There are many shuttle services available through various companies that connect with hotels and resorts downtown. Taxi is a convenient option for the short 15-minute trip to town with ranks outside both terminals or you might like to request a car with Uber, Lyft or Wingz. For a private way to travel, you may wish to book a limousine or hire a car. The car rental centre is approximately 5 minutes’ drive from the terminals with a free shuttle to take you there.

Getting around Las Vegas

Getting around Las Vegas is easy with many transport options to help you get around the city. The monorail is a convenient option without the hassle of traffic and you can navigate the strip in less than 15 minutes. Trains operate every 4 to 8 minutes and stop at the main hotels. Taxis are a reliable way to travel though you need to pick up one from valet or a hotel taxi line. Ride share is a popular option to get around, no matter where you are in Las Vegas. Simply download the Uber or Lyft app and request a ride. Limos are a fun and fancy way to get around the city in style or you may like to rent a car. The Deuce is a bus that can take you along the Strip and downtown, or the Downtown Loop is a free shuttle that can take you to many of the main attractions.
