Snowy Mountains Airport (OOM) is located 16km from Cooma city centre and 46km to Jindabyne.

Once you land in Cooma, you’ll be greeted by the friendly airport staff, with a few transport options available to get to your accomodation.

Getting into Snowy Mountains from Cooma Airport

Snowy Mountain Shuttles meet Qantas flights, or taxis can take you to Jindabyne. If you're travelling to any of the other resorts you might wish to hire a car.

Getting around the Snowy Mountains

The best way to get around the Snowy Mountains is by hire car to discover region. If you're hiring a car during winter, ensure you rent snow chains. You need a All vehicles must pay to enter the park, which can be done at the gate or prior to your arrival in the national park. From Jindabyne there is a tube with regular services to take to the ski resorts for a conveneint way to travel. A taxi service is available in the area or you may request an Uber.
