When to visit

The best time to visit Dunedin is during summer (December to February) when the temperature ranges between 20 to 25˚C. The sun is nice and warm making it the perfect time to discover the spectacular landscapes, watch the adorable penguins or visit St Clair surf beach. Winters are cold (June to August), making it an ideal time to visit the quirky cafes, Olveston Historic Home and boutique stores. Winter temperatures range from 5 to 10°C.
