When to visit

The best time to visit Queens in NYC is in spring (March to May) to take advantage of green spaces across the city. It’s the chance to admire cherry blossoms in the botanic gardens, stroll through one of NYC parks or enjoy a long, lazy brunch outdoors. In summer there is always something happening with free outdoor concerts and the US Open with an average temperature of 29°C. Autumn is also a pleasant time to visit Queens, during the month of September. The leaves change to beautiful shades of red, yellow and orange, with temperatures between 16°C to 25°C. The Village Halloween Parade, the Thanksgiving Day Parade and the New York City Marathon all take place during autumn.
