When to visit

April through October is the best time to visit Virginia. Being dry and warm, April marks the start of spring, the sun is shining and the city has amazing experiences everywhere from annual festivals that draw people to colourful art. May can be rainy, the beginning of the peak season. Summer in Virginia is usually hot with possible thunderstorms. When the suns out it’s great to lay out at Belle Isle on the river or visit a brewery in Scott’s Addition. Winter gets a little snow in December and January.
