As a token of our appreciation, we are offering eligible members $50 off a Qantas flight in the form of a unique promo code. To be eligible you must: 

• Be a Qantas Frequent Flyer member, 
• Reside in Australia or New Zealand at the time of claiming. Your promo code will be provided to you in either AUD or NZD based on where you reside.

How it works:  

1. Select ‘Accept’ from the home screen of the Qantas App by 30 September 2022.  
2. Confirm your email address and country of residence to ensure your promo code is provided to the correct email address, in the correct currency.  
3. You will know you have completed the process when you see a confirmation screen with your $50 flight promo code. Your unique promo code will also be sent via email within seven days.  
4. Book an eligible return Qantas flight by 30 November 2022, for travel by 30 June 2023.

If you are unsure if you accepted your flight promo code successfully, check your Activity Statement from three days after you’ve completed the process. The unique promo code will not be available in your Activity Statement, it will be emailed to the email address you confirmed within seven days.

Your $50 flight promo code can be redeemed via qantas.com, the Qantas AppOpens in a new tab or window or via the Qantas Contact Center when making a new booking. Before selecting your flight, look for the “Have a promo code?” prompt and click the link to enter your code for the discount to be applied. If you forget to enter the promo code when selecting your flight, don’t worry you can do so on the payment page in the promo code field. Remember to use your promo code by 30 November 2022. 

Your promo code is valued at A$50 for Australian Qantas Frequent Flyer members and NZ$50 for New Zealand Qantas Frequent flyer members and will be deducted from the total flight price. The promo code can only be used once.

Promo codes must be used for single passenger bookings (1x adult) on a Qantas-operated flight with a ‘QF’ flight number.  

• If you reside in Australia, your A$ promo code can be applied on new, return Qantas-operated flight bookings departing Australia
• If you reside in New Zealand, your NZ$ promo code can be applied on new, return Qantas-operated international flight bookings departing New Zealand. 

If all flights in your return booking are Qantas-operated flights with a ‘QF’ flight number, you’ll see $50 deducted from the fare when redeeming your promo code.  

However, if part of your itinerary (either the journey to or from your destination) includes a Jetstar or codeshare flight (i.e. operated by Emirates), only half of the promo code ($25) will apply.   

If flights to and from your destination both include non-Qantas-operated flights, no discount will apply, and you can redeem your promo code on a future booking.  

No. Your flight promo code can only be used for new bookings.

Your unique promo code must be used to make a Qantas-operated return booking on qantas.com by 30 November 2022, for travel by 30 June 2023. 

No. If you travel on a Jetstar flight either to or from your destination then this part of the journey will not be eligible to be discounted. For example, if you travelled to your destination on a Qantas operated flight but your return journey contained a ‘JQ’ flight number, then only half of the flight discount ($25) will apply.

The $50 promo code can be redeemed on a return fare only. 

Your promo code is valid on all Qantas fare types excluding ‘Classic Flight Reward’ fares.

Yes, however, the code cannot be used on a booking that includes a ‘Classic Flight Reward’ fare.

No, the promo code cannot be redeemed in conjunction with Qantas Flight Credits, Qantas Points, Points Plus Pay or Classic Flight Reward bookings.  

Your promo can be used when making a booking for one adult passenger. Bookings including a child or infant are not eligible. You can use one promo code per booking. If you are travelling with others, they will need to book separately. 

When redeeming your promo code, you can use Credit/Debit Card, BPAY, PayPal or Zip for the balance owing. You can also redeem your promo code when booking with a Qantas Pass. 

After applying the promo code on the 'flights' or ‘payment’ page, a green tick will display, along with the text ‘Discount has been applied’ - this will only occur if the promo code has been successful. The discount will be deducted from the total amount which you will be able to see through your ‘cost breakdown’. 

After applying the promo code on the 'flights' or ‘payment’ page, an alert will display along with text explaining that you may have an invalid code. Re-enter the code ensuring there are no spaces within the field. If your promo code is still not working, please ensure you have input the details correctly and your booking matches the eligibility criteria below: 

• Please check your confirmation email to confirm the unique promo code is correct. Your promo code was sent via email with the subject line “Your Qantas flight promo code is inside”.  
• For Australian residents, make sure your departure port is in Australia. For New Zealand residents, your departure port will need to be in New Zealand.  
• Make sure your return booking includes only Qantas-operated flights. Australian residents can redeem the promo code on domestic and international return flights. New Zealand residents can redeem on international return flights.  
• Make sure you have not redeemed this promo code on another flight booking – promo codes are valid for single use only. Ensure your booking is for 1x adult only.  
• If you have checked the above criteria and you are still receiving an ‘invalid’ message, please call our Contact Centre on 13 13 13 or 0800 808 767 if you are in New Zealand.  

Your promo code was sent via email with the subject line “Your Qantas flight promo code is inside”. Please search your inbox and check your junk mail. If you are still unable to find your promo code, please call our Contact Centre. You will need to provide verification to confirm your identity for our Contact Centre to re-issue you with your unique promo code. If you have registered to receive the $50 Qantas flight promo code and a code has been issued, you will not be able to register for an additional code.
