The first of 29 QantasLink Airbus A220 aircraft is expected to join our fleet before the end of the year. The next-generation A220s will gradually replace QantasLink’s Boeing 717 fleet which operate routes across Australia and form part of the Qantas Group’s broader fleet renewal program to replace and grow its narrowbody fleet.
Our A220s will be the first of the aircraft type to be operating in the Pacific and to celebrate this milestone we asked the public to help us name these aircraft after Australia’s native wildlife.
