Queenstown Airport (ZQN) is located in Frankton, Otago, New Zealand, and serves the resort town of Queenstown. The airport is 8 km (5.0 mi) from the Queenstown CBD.

Qantas flights QF1 to QF399 are international services.

Departures

Check-in

Check-in is located on the ground floor of the departure hall and is open from three hours prior to departure, until one hour before departure.

For international departures, check in at least two hours before departure. Have your passport and airline tickets ready. Remember to ensure all sharp objects have been placed in your suitcase. Sharp objects are not permitted within hand luggage and will be confiscated by Aviation Security at the Security checkpoint.

Online check-in is available for Qantas international flights (QF1-199), and other eligible connecting flights operated by oneworld, partner and codeshare airlines. Online check-in is open from 24 hours to two hours before departure for international flights.

Transport

Transport	Details
Car	The airport is approximately a 15 minute drive from the city. Visit Queenstown Airport for current car parking rates.
Taxis	Approximately NZ$25 one way to Queenstown CBD.
Buses	The public bus service is an easy and affordable way to explore Queenstown and Arrowtown. All you need to do is get a Bee card. Visit Queenstown Airport for bus information.
