Smartbag used to recharge portable electronic devices
What bags you can carry and requirements of how to pack:
Removable Lithium batteries or Lithium power banks exceeding 2.7Wh or 0.3g of lithium metal content installed in a bag that are used to recharge portable electronic devices.
Important
Baggage fitted with non-removable lithium batteries or powerbanks are forbidden.
Carriage requirements
- If in checked baggage the lithium battery or lithium power bank must be removed from the bag. The removed lithium battery or powerbank must be in carry-on baggage only. Refer to Spare batteries and powerbanks for carriage requirements.
- Baggage with the lithium battery or power bank not removed must travel in carry-on baggage only.
Note: Non-lithium batteries/powerbanks can remain fitted in the bag and carried as carry-on or checked baggage.
Smartbag used to power inbuilt electronic bag functions
What bags you can carry and requirements of how to pack:
Removable Lithium batteries or Lithium power banks exceeding 2.7Wh or 0.3g of lithium metal content installed in a bag that are used to power an inbuilt function.
Important
Baggage fitted with non-removable lithium batteries or powerbanks are forbidden.
Carriage requirements
