When to visit

The Koh Samui climate is warm and humid all year round. The humidity level is around 70% with an average temperature of 28°C. The best time to visit Samui is during December to February to enjoy clear sunny days, little rain, calm seas and light winds. The hottest time of year is between March and May with temperatures around 30°C and marks the start of the monsoon season. September to November is the peak of the monsoon season with heavy short downpours of rain. The beaches are less crowded and it’s a good time to enjoy the many restaurants, indulge in a massage, join a Thai cooking class or get a custom-made suit or dress.
