Aquarius On The Beach is the only high-rise Hotel located on the Strand in Townsville. Featuring over 120 self contained studio units offering uninterupted breath-taking views of Magnetic Island, the Coral Sea and the exciting Strand Beachfront.
All apartments contain a queen bed, basic kitchenette facilities, air conditioning, ensuite bathroom, private non-smoking balcony and WIFI. Extra beds can be booked direct with the hotel for an extra $30 per night.
Aquarius on the Beach is ideally located in close proximity to the CBD and many of Townsville's tourist attractions including the Casino, Great Barrier Reef, Airport, Palmer Street restaurant strip and the Flinders Street night club precinct.

Arrivals after reception hours to contact property for late check-in instructions.

Valid photo ID is required on check in for all guests occupying the room. The person registering at check-in must be at least 18 years of age.

A valid credit card will be required on arrival to process a pre-authorisation of $200 AUD to cover incidentals. Where no credit card is provided on arrival or a cash bond of $250 will apply.

Parking is limited and subject to availability. Parking is not guaranteed. Parking is strictly one vehicle per room that must be registered on check in. Caravans, campervans, motorhome, boat, trailer, jet ski and other like vehicles are not allowed.

IMPORTANT NOTICE.  We are strictly a NON-SMOKING / NON PARTY establishment for the comfort of our guests. Smoking in rooms or on balconies is not permitted.  A minimum fee of $100 will be charged for smoking in rooms or balconies.  The fee can be as high as $400 if we have to do deep cleaning for removing smell from beddings and lounges.

Travel insurance is recommended to cover any unforeseen circumstances.

No shows: A no show is a booking that does not check-in on the scheduled day of arrival which will be cancelled & the room will not be available for check-in after the scheduled arrival time. No refund will be provided with 100% of the reservation charged as a cancellation fee.

Bed types are request only and may not be honoured at the hotel if availability does not permit.
