Named after the endangered Maugean Skates, an ancient and unique ray only found in Macquarie Harbour and is critically endangered; our Maugean Suites feature a central living area and two separate bedrooms, making these suites ideal for families and small groups. With every stay in one of our beautiful Maugean Suites, we will provide a donation to the Australian Marine Conservation Society to help prevent the Maugean Skate from becoming the world’s first ray species to become extinct in modern times.
