Eligibility

Qantas Frequent Flyer members who join IHG® One Rewards and have set their Frequency Alliance miles/credits earning preference to Qantas Points will earn 500 Qantas Points for every qualifying stay outside Australia and 5 Qantas Points for every A$1 spent on full folio stays in Australia. 

Full folio means you can earn Qantas Points on the room rate and items charged to the room. A “Qualifying Stay” is defined as one night or consecutive nights at the same hotel, regardless of frequency of Check-In/Check-Out and when a Member pays a Qualifying Rate for that Stay. Qualifying Stays must be booked through IHG Customer Care, IHG websites, the IHG App, IHG WeChat mini programme, authorised travel agents (excluding online travel agents), or directly at the hotel. Bookings made via Qantas Hotels are not classified as a qualifying stay  with IHG® One Rewards.

Qualifying Rates include most business and leisure rates, such as Advance Saver rates, Best Flexible rates, Global sales negotiated rates (including but not limited to Corporate Gold rates), national/regional/local government rates, and specified leisure rates as confirmed by IHG’s reservation systems.

When do I provide my Frequent Flyer number?

You must provide choose Qantas Points as your Frequency Alliance miles/credits earning preference and add your Qantas Frequent Flyer membership number when you join IHG® One Rewards.

How long until I get my Qantas Points?

Points will be credited to your Frequent Flyer account within six weeks of checking out.
