We're closely monitoring conditions at Denpasar Airport in Bali due to volcanic ash caused by the Mount Lewotobi eruption in Indonesia. Our teams have been working through the night to closely monitor the evolving situation and assess when it's safe to fly. 

In good news, this morning conditions have improved allowing us to resume operations between Australia and Denpasar.

Customers impacted by disruptions on 12 and 13 November will be contacted directly with rebooking options.

We will continue to monitor the changing conditions and volcanic activity. 

Flexibility for customers with existing bookings to/from Denpasar Airport up to Friday 22 November (inclusive)

If you booked a Qantas flight to/from Denpasar Airport before 13 November, for travel between 13 and 22 November, we’re offering a fee-free refund, travel credit or date change (up to 21 days from date of travel, subject to availability). We appreciate that some customers may not wish to travel on flights to and from Bali.

If you booked directly with Qantas, visit Manage booking to make changes to your booking, or contact us on 13 13 13 (within Australia) or your local Qantas office to discuss your options including a travel credit or refund.

If you booked through a Travel Agent or other third-party booking provider, please contact them directly.

Information about new bookings to/from Denpasar Airport

To minimise the impact on customers holding existing bookings with Qantas, all Qantas flights to/from Denpasar Airport are no longer available for new bookings up to Monday 18 November (inclusive).
