When to visit

The best time to visit Auckland is during the summer months, December to February with temperatures ranging from 15°C to 30°C. Auckland Airport (AKL). The airport is a major airline hub in New Zealand and there are many domestic and international destinations for visitors to continue on to.  The airport is located near Mangere,  21 km south of the Auckland city centre.

Getting into Auckland

Conveniently located between both Auckland city and Manukau city, there are a number of bus, shuttle, taxi and rideshare services which can pick you up from the terminal. Alternatively, you may wish to hire a car to explore the scenic destinations surrounding the city.  It’s best to allow plenty of time when travelling to and from the airport to cater for any delays and ensure you arrive at least three hours before your international flight or one hour before your domestic flight.

Incheon International Airport (ICN). Sometimes referred to as Seoul–Incheon International Airport is the largest airport in South Korea. It is the primary airport serving the Seoul Capital Area and one of the largest and busiest airports in the world. Incheon International Airport is located 48km west of Incheon's city centre.
