COUPLE IN SYDNEY HARBOUR

Days 1-2: Sydney

Home to a glistening harbour which is ripe for exploration, explore Sydney via ferry, stopping by beautiful beachside suburbs and dining out at celebrated restaurants on the water’s edge. Sydney offers a vibrant food scene and culture galore.

    Newtown is one of Sydney's hippest neighbourhoods, bursting with character, colour and culture. Explore Newtown’s streets, an ever-changing outdoor art gallery of street graffiti, or browse vintage stores and eclectic boutiques.
  • Swim and surf in Bondi
    Take a dip with the beautiful people at Bondi Icebergs Club, one of Sydney’s most Instagrammable ocean pools. Try surfing with Let’s Go Surfing, a popular team of experienced instructors, and the only officially licensed surf school on world-famous Bondi Beach.
  • See Sydney aglow
    Step outside the everyday and into nights full of wonder as the Vivid Sydney festival transforms the Harbour City into a kaleidoscope of colour and energy after dark from 26 May – 17 June 2023.

Days 3-4: South Coast

The Grand Pacific Drive is one of Australia's prettiest routes, winding through rainforests, seaside villages along a curvaceous coastline. Starting at the raw wilderness of Royal National Park just south of Sydney, this 140km coastal journey is takes you right through to Jervis Bay, three hours from Sydney via car.

    Stop by Symbio Wildlife Park, a beautiful sanctuary home to all your favourite Australian native animals: koalas, kangaroos, echidnas, wombats and dingoes.
  • Sip wines in a giant teacup
    Cambewarra Estate Winery is one of the most photogenic vineyards on the NSW South Coast, indulge in wine and take high tea in a giant pastel-pink teacup set in the middle of the chardonnay vines.
  • Spot whales and dolphins
    Jump on a cruise with Jervis Bay Wild to spot dolphins all year round and migrating whales from May to November.

Days 5-6: Central Coast

Home to some of the state’s best beaches and outdoor adventures, the Central Coast is just an hour from Sydney (four hours if road tripping from Jervis Bay). Meet pelicans, kangaroos and koalas and have a thrilling treetop adventure through eucalyptus forests or hike through coastal wilderness to spot whales

    Swing through the trees, climb massive eucalypts and ride the world’s longest zipline at Treetops Central Coast. We recommend taking the high ropes course with 115 challenges including suspension bridges and 20 flying foxes.

    Visit Glenworth Valley Outdoor Adventures, an outdoor adventure paradise where you can experience a wide range of activities from kayaking to quad biking.
  • Saddle up!
    Glenworth Valley Outdoor Adventures is also Australia’s largest horse-riding centre. Beginners can go on a guided trail ride where you’ll learn to control your horse, then trail through beautiful natural scenery.
