Network
From early April 2025, you can book Qantas codeshare flights operated by Skytrans for Flexflight for flights between Sydney and Lord Howe Island for travel from 26 February 2026.
When booking or flying on a Qantas codeshare flight operated by Skytrans, your flight will display as 'Operated by Skytrans for Flexflight'. Flexflight is a provider of distribution and ticketing capabilities for Skytrans.

Baggage allowances
Your carry-on baggage allowance is determined by the carrier operating your flight.
Your checked baggage allowance for these flights is 14kg for your first piece and 9kg for your second piece of luggage, a total of 23kg across two bags. As these flights may have weight restrictions, your second piece of luggage may need to travel on a different aircraft.

Eligible customers and their guests can access the following lounge when flying on a Qantas codeshare fight operated by Skytrans to Lord Howe Island.

Qantas Frequent Flyers
Qantas Frequent Flyers can earn Qantas Points and Status Credits by booking the codeshare flight. You can also use points on Skytrans for Classic Flight Rewards or a combination of points and cash with Points Plus Pay for flights between Sydney and Lord Howe Island.
Note: Classic Plus Reward Seats aren't available for flights between Sydney and Lord Howe Island.

Missed connections
Sometimes things don't go to plan, and we recognise the impact delays and missed connections can have. In the event this happens to you, below is some key information.
If you missed a connection due to the late arrival of your aircraft, the delivering carrier is responsible for ensuring you make your final destination.
Lost baggage
If your baggage doesn't arrive on the same flight as you, contact the Arrival Service desk of the delivering carrier in the arrivals hall.
