Avis Australia and New Zealand - Points Club and Points Club Plus members

Points Club and Points Club Plus members will receive complimentary single car Group upgrades for the duration of their Points Club or Points Club Plus membership. Single car Group upgrade is valid on Economy (Group A) through to Standard (Group D) cars when renting from Avis Australia and New Zealand locations (excluding Queenstown) only. Upgrade to a maximum Group E. Offer excludes Signature Series. Members may access the upgrade via the Points Club or Points Club Plus member landing page link, once logged in to My Account This offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer, coupon or promotion. Car hire and upgrades are subject to car availability at the time of rental and the Avis Rental Agreement Terms and Conditions. Avis age, credit and driver requirements apply. To earn Qantas Points on car rentals with Avis and Budget:

You must be a member of the Qantas Frequent Flyer program to earn and redeem Qantas Points. Join online now A joining fee may apply. Membership and Qantas Points are subject to the Qantas Frequent Flyer program terms and conditions Qantas Frequent Flyer members will earn 4 Qantas Points per A$1 spent on time and kilometre charges within Australia and 700 Qantas Points will be earned per rental outside of Australia with Avis and Budget. Definition of time and kilometre charges means points are accrued on the base rate of the rental and points are not accrued on GST, car ancillaries such as GPS and other accessories, insurance, one-way fees, delivery/collection fees, fuel, airport fees, Premium Location surcharges, coverages, excess reduction fees, package holiday rentals, government rates, industry discounted rates, group rates, some corporate rates, other special promotional rates and miscellaneous charges. When using Qantas Points, points will be earned on the cash portion of Points Plus Pay - Cars at the standard 4 Qantas Points per $1 rate. Qantas Points cannot be earned on Classic Car Rewards. Members must provide their Qantas Frequent Flyer membership number at the time of booking to earn Qantas Points. Qantas Points will be credited up to eight weeks after rental.  

To use Qantas Points on car rentals with Avis and Budget:

In Australia, New Zealand, United States and Canada, Qantas Points can be used with a minimum of 2,000 points required. Qantas Points cannot be used on package tour, government, travel industry, some corporate rates and in conjunction with any other offer, coupon or promotion. Classic Car Rewards are available on Avis car rentals in Australia, New Zealand, United States and Canada, with a minimum of 2,000 points required. In order to book, members must select Classic Car Rewards at the time of booking.
