Unpack new features in the Qantas App
Open a world of new features on the Qantas App, all designed to help you fly through your next trip with ease. From the new Travel Mode putting all your flight details at your fingertips to easy access to upgrade requests, the Qantas App is the ultimate travel companion.
Piloting the new digital Australia Travel Declaration
Travel is now easier with the option to complete the digital Australia Travel Declaration on the Qantas App. Eligible passengers travelling on select flights were the first to experience a fast-tracked arrival process as part of a joint initiative with the Australian Government. We'll be expanding the program to more international destinations in early 2025.
Switch into Travel Mode
From 72 hours before your flight, the Qantas App Home screen will now enter Travel Mode, showing your flight details, digital boarding pass, pre-flight requirements, check-in status and real-time flight status.
Upgrade your journey
If you’re a Frequent Flyer, you’ll have access to upgrade requests at your fingertips. Eligible members can request Classic Upgrades and make Bid Now Upgrade offers easily, plus On Departure Points Upgrade requests are available for eligible members exclusively on the Qantas App.
Track your checked baggage
With the Qantas App, you can now view the status of your checked baggage on eligible flights with the Track my bags feature. You'll receive status updates on the location of your baggage, including when it's onboard and when it has reached the carousel for pickup.
My QFF is now even better
We've made it even easier to track your Frequent Flyer Status, access your lounge passes, see your Points Club and Green Tier progress and check your activity statement, plus easy access to use our calculators and find ways to earn and use points.
Download or update the Qantas App
You can easily download the app onto your tablet, Android, or iPhone. If you already have the Qantas App but not the latest version, make sure to update it to access special offers, book flights, and manage your trip seamlessly. It’s also compatible with your Apple Watch, so flying is a breeze no matter what device you’re using.
