Valencia enjoys a Mediterranean climate with hot summers and mild winters, plenty of sunshine all year round, making any time a good time to visit. Getting into Valencia from Valencia Airport

Getting into Valencia is easy, with a range of transport options available. Take a bus, taxi, metro, hotel shuttle, private transfer or car rental. Metrobus line 150 links the airport to Valencia city centre, with stops at Mislata, Quart de Poblet and Manises. It takes around 45 minutes to get to the city centre and leaves from outside the departure’s hall. Taxi is a convenient option, with the taxi rank outside the main terminal building. It takes around 20 minutes to get to the city centre. Metro is another option that links the airport with the city centre and the port. It’s possible to organise a private transfer or check with your hotel to organise a shuttle. If you wish to rent a car, car rental companies are available at the airport and you can choose one that suits your needs to explore the town.

Getting around Valencia

There are plenty of transport options available in Valencia and some of the best ways to see the city is by public transport, taxis, bicycle, car hire or join a tour. Buses are a convenient and efficient way to get around with daily services operating throughout the city. The underground metro is another option, though it mainly serves the suburban areas. It's best to buy a Valencia Tourist Card to use on the bus, tram and metro networks. Taxis are readily available and can be hailed on the street or from a taxi rank. Roads in Valencia are good, so hiring a car is an option to explore further than the city. To see the city sights, especially the historic centre, it’s easy to hire a bike or electric scooter.
