You’d never guess that three hours north-west of Melbourne CBD, Mount Buller’s snowfields house an off-season extravaganza of trails. Although the track demands a gruelling 16 kilometres of uphill rides, the view afforded to the committed cyclist will more than make up for it – with panoramic glimpses over the state from almost 1650 metres in the air, you’ll have a hard time keeping your gaze on the track.
