Conceived by design-wunderkind Andre Fu, this luxe boutique hotel was devised to maximise the scenic vistas of Hong Kong. In the 117 rooms and suites, sleek interiors and a palette of soothing neutrals act as a backdrop to the island and harbour panoramas. Little luxuries give this property an edge: most rooms have rain showers and free-standings tubs, and the hotel offers complimentary yoga classes on weekends and free bikes to explore surrounding locales. While there’s no spa or pool, there is a small gym – and those in need a respite from the bustling city will find a peaceful private garden called The Lawn on the 6th floor. Foodies should make a point of dining at the 49th floor restaurant, Café Gray Deluxe. The setting and views are pure glamour and the menu offers seasonally driven fare.
