Where is Four Seasons Chao Phraya River?

Bangkok’s Riverside area – about 40 minutes from the airport – is less well-known than the popular tourist area of Sukhumvit but that’s what makes it so exciting to explore. Electric ferries can take you up and down the river to the Buddhist temples and centuries-old Portuguese community in Kudi Chin, to the art galleries and bars of the Creative District and Chinatown or the high-end megamall of IconSiam in mere minutes. The riverside location also means you get the odd breeze and a break from the relentless humidity.

The key restaurants are the Michelin-starred Yu Ting Yuan, the lively French Brasserie Palmier and the energetic Italian Riva Del Fiume, which is also the location for the lavish buffet breakfasts, including piles of pastries, cold meats and salad, omelettes, pancakes and soup stations. But the standout is the sumptuous Argentinean-style BKK Social Club with its Art Deco-inspired curves – it’s number 10 on Asia’s 50 Best Bars for 2022 and serves tasty tapas-style snacks.

Travel for work

The property is equipped with a network of meeting rooms, conference spaces, grand ballrooms and outdoor terraces that can be configured in endless ways to suit the corporate traveller’s needs.

Spa and gym

Spanning more than 2500 square metres, the fitness and wellness centre includes a fully equipped gym, lap pool, nine treatment rooms, a nail salon and barber. Activities such as outdoor yoga, Muay Thai boxing and circuit training are offered daily.
