Wander a World Heritage island
Cockatoo Island, which lies just west of the Harbour Bridge, is an explorer’s pick ’n’ mix. You can dive into our Indigenous and convict history by booking an on-demand group tour (minimum 10 people), watch movies in the Campground Cinema or have a barbecue picnic lunch and enjoy an afternoon playing lawn games picked up from the visitor centre. Want to stay the night? Snuggle down in a waterfront tent or cosy up in heritage accommodations (apartments 23A, B and C have the best bridge views).
