Straddling Darwin Harbour — and just 450 metres from the hotel — is the tranquil Bicentennial Park, a hub of outdoor activity for everyone from families to fitness fanatics. It’s a pleasant place for a stroll or jog; if you’re tackling the latter, loop in the Darwin Waterfront Precinct on warmer days and you’ll have the option of leaping into the public lagoon for a cool down.

Astride the pool with a wall of open windows, D Bar & Restaurant dishes up casual fare, from chunky steak sandwiches to saucy stir-fries; a nod to the city’s diverse gastronomical influences. Cocktails are also on the menu; especially refreshing when the heat kicks up. The breakfast buffet is suitably satisfying, with fresh fruit, yoghurt and cheese as well as the staples.  

Travel for work

With free wi-fi throughout, business travellers can move their work stations freely and easily from in-room desk to by-pool lounger. For more formal gatherings, there’s a 12-person capacity meeting room on-site available for hire. 

Gym and pool

Visitors can keep in-step with their routines in the small rooftop gym (complete with cardio and weight machines) or by taking languid laps in the outdoor pool, open all- year round.
