Head north from New Farm Park to take in this walking and running route along the river past Teneriffe’s brick Woolstore Apartments. Stop off at one of the brilliant cafes along the way – Kin & Co, Barko & Co or Malt Pier – but be sure to also take in some of the signposted local history. Brisbane was a submarine base for the United States during World War II and the boats used to dock along this stretch of the river.
