Make it, bake it, grow it, sew it - that’s the mantra for the 600 stallholders who sell their wares at the Eumundi Markets. Showcasing the hotbed of local creativity, the various stalls are set up every Wednesday and Sunday in a beautiful position under giant fig trees in the village of Eumundi, about 15 minutes’ drive from Noosa. The markets have been operating since 1979 and it’s still the place to find something different: sculpture, furniture, art, homewares, handcrafted toys, jewellery and fashion are all here. And if shopping makes you hungry, there’s everything from laksa to cakes, as well as music to spur you on.
