When Sean’s Kitchen opened in 2014, its namesake Shaun Connolly was clear about his intentions for the space. Connolly created a cool, New York-style brasserie in which you could hang out with a drink and snacks such as a lobster roll or sardines and soldiers, sit down for its three-course set menu, or splash out on Oscietra Caviar washed down with French champagne. It’s up to you – Sean’s Kitchen is the kind of place where you can take in breakfast, lunch or dinner, however you choose to.

If you love seafood, you’re in luck – South Australia’s marine treasures taking pride of place on the menu. Try freshly shucked Smoky Bay oysters, kingfish sashimi, king crab or a seafood platter for two. Sean’s Kitchen makes good use of its hall space, with New York-style benches and lamps running down the centre of the restaurant towards the centrepiece wall of ham. Sit downstairs with family and friends or head upstairs for a more intimate business meeting or date. Or book the private dining room, used for small conferences and gatherings of up to 14 people.
