Salamanca Market

For three decades the street outside the historic sandstone façade of Salamanca has been shut each Saturday for the market. You’ll find locally made, thick Mongrel socks, hand-spun and hand-knitted woollen beanies and superb fresh vegetables, some grown by descendants of the Hmong hill tribes of Southeast Asia.
