Melbourne’s street art has become famous all over the world and is often cited as one of the reasons people visit the city. It’s easy to find, too – Hosier Lane is covered in ever-changing work by local and international artists (it’s also always crowded with school kids and wedding parties snapping photos) and there’s plenty of colour in Caledonian and Union Lanes.

Fitzroy and Collingwood are street-art hotspots as well. The Welcome to Sunny Fitzroy piece by Everfresh Studio on the side of Johnston Street’s Night Cat nightclub is a stayer but it’s always worth ducking into smaller lanes to see what’s there since it’s a scene where everything can change overnight.
