The outlook of this Euro-style rooftop bar above the Melbourne Supper Club is something special. As the sun goes down, the lights on the portico of Parliament House go on. It’s all sparkling and romantic and, because the whole thing is hidden behind a barely marked wooden door, it has an air of secrecy about it. Take a seat at one of the cafe tables, order a glass of fine shiraz and let the atmosphere wash over you. Many a night has lingered long up here, but that’s okay because you can order a little something to eat, too – the sausage rolls may not sound very sophisticated but they are sensational.

Location

This historic part of the Melbourne CBD is also home to Parliament House and the Old Treasury and within easy walk of the designer shopping of Collins Street as well as restaurants and bars.
