This sophisticated vintage boutique is where fashion-conscious Parisian girls (and yes, okay, that’s tautological) go to unearth design gems. The sizable thrift store is a treasure trove of hats, shoes, bags, costume jewellery and, of course, clothes sourced from every fashion decade. A seasoned fossicker could be kept busy for days browsing through the packed racks. In addition to 1950s, ’60s, and ’70s classics, there’s also vintage Chanel highlights, which means you shouldn’t expect “market” prices but the edit, quality and sheer quantity of stock means Kiliwatch is well worth your precious holiday time. Do note, however, that the store has unusual hours and is open Monday 2pm-7pm and Tuesday-Sunday from 11am-7pm.

Location

Located just above the 1st arrondissement, this Right Bank neighbourhood is best known as the city’s financial and business district as it houses the Bourse (stock exchange), in addition to some of the finest examples of Haussmann architecture thanks to the area’s professional wealth.
