Cycle across the bridges
It’s poetic, practical and how the city’s locals roll. Explore some of the River Seine’s 37 bridges on two wheels – including the grand Pont Alexandre III, with its ornate lamps and golden statues; historic Pont Neuf; and double-decker Pont de Bir-Hakeim, which has a great view of the Eiffel Tower. You’ll also glide past the iconic Musée d’Orsay, Grand Palais and Hôtel des Invalides. The Vélib’ Métropole system is easy to use; to hire a mechanical or electric bicycle, just buy a day pass online or at docking stations around Paris.
