This trattoria is rustic, packed with cheeky waiters and located in a gorgeous piazza where people-watching hits its peak between 10pm and midnight. Order a wood-fired pizza, a simple plate of homemade tonnarelli pasta or a starter of Roman artichokes and you will get an idea why Roman dishes are best when served simply without fuss.

Location

This would be referred to as the true “centro storico”, meaning the historic centre. The area is often also referenced as Piazza Navona, given its close proximity to this must-see square. The streets are narrow, the boutiques and restaurants are beautiful and there is always a buzz at any time of day.
