Situated in the heart of Barcelona’s Gothic Quarter, you’ll find Mercer Barcelona at 7 Calle Lledó, behind a pair of imposing and grand double wooden doors. Located down a narrow street that’s barely wide enough for a taxi, the building incorporates part of the Roman walls used to defend the city, with some dating back to the 1st century AD.

Explore the maze of streets and you’ll discover you’re well placed for the action of Las Ramblas, the waterfront site of many of Barcelona’s best shopping streets. You’re also a short walk to many of the city’s subway lines. Of course, with so much history to explore, there’s plenty to keep you busy in the immediate vicinity.
