Don’t mess with the smaller renditions of the chain – head straight for the flagship at Oxford Circus, where the world of clothing, accessories, make-up, jewellery and menswear can be, well, a little overwhelming. With three levels to cover, the experience can be something of a physical challenge – start at the bottom floor where you’ll find up-and-coming designers supported by Topshop. Work your way upward, floor-by-floor, and if you need some sustenance on your epic sartorial journey, swing by Lola’s Cupcake counter on their ground floor.

Once you’ve knocked over Topshop, the rest of Oxford Street will feel like a breeze. Head west towards Bond Street, where you’ll find a clutch of luxury high-end stores, eager to help you spend what’s left of your cash. Hard-core shoppers (and those with deeper pockets) may like to finish their expedition in standout department store Selfridges.
