Wood Fired Pizza at Homeslice
This pizzeria only has a smattering of seats outside in the alleyway but it takes one glimpse – or, rather, whiff – of these delectable pizzas to ruin all plans of shopping or sightseeing in Covent Garden. The most common mistake is ordering one to share with a friend; after a couple of pints of craft beer, you’ll realise it’s not really possible to choose between pulled BBQ brisket with pickles and a classic Margherita. Homeslice are particularly proud of their dough recipe and they do several pizzas by the slice so if all the tables are full, grab your slice and then ask people to direct you towards the Apple Store. This will get you to the piazza, a square that often has some of the best buskers in London to entertain you while you eat.
Location
Covent Garden is a shopping paradise and it’s easy to navigate on foot once you’ve come out at the Covent Garden tube station. Being near to both the theatre district of the West End and the nightlife of Soho, this part of London is always full of people and a great place to soak up the buzz of the city any day of the week.
