A remarkable display of horticulture, the Miracle Garden is an oasis of lush colour in the depths of the Dubai desert. Hundreds of thousands of bright flowers overflow from shady archways, vintage cars, boat hulls, fountains and even a Ferrari. Landscapers have also recreated the Burj Khalifa out of twisted pillars of climbing vines and flowers, standing at a somewhat shorter, but still impressive, 18 metres. Kids will love the flower-walled playhouses, while the fluttering inhabitants of the newly opened adjacent Butterfly Garden, the largest indoor butterfly garden in the world, will keep them enthralled.
