Going-to-the-Sun Road, Montana
It takes just two hours to traverse this trail through Montana’s Glacier National Park. Peaking at 2000-metre-high Logan Pass, this 80-kilometre trip cuts through cedar forests, borders glacial lakes and meanders past towering bluffs often dusted with snow – most notably Going-to-the-Sun mountain, named by the Native American Blackfoot population.
