Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek
The Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek is one of the oldest luxury hotels in Dallas. In a city that’s getting trendier every day, the Mansion, as it’s known to locals, boasts timeless style. Originally a private estate, the property became a hotel in 1980. While a multi-million dollar redesign was completed in 2010, the Mansion has maintained an intimate and elegant vibe. It’s the perfect place to make-believe you’re one of the JR Ewing clan in the TV soap Dallas.
Nestled in a quieter neighbourhood, the hotel boasts one of the best restaurants in the city and is only a short drive from all the shopping, museums, and nightlife offered in Uptown. The nearby Katy Trail running path is a great way to see the surrounding area, unless you’re visiting during a scorching summer. Then you can retreat to the air-conditioned gym – or the air-conditioned Mansion Bar.
