Not far from the Mob Museum, this collection of vintage neon signage is one of the most beautiful and unexpectedly affecting sights in Las Vegas. Set outdoors under the blinding Vegas sun, the Neon Boneyard is a kind of pop-art graveyard and a monument to a dying art form. Made all the more poignant for their rust patches and broken tubing, each sign is a time capsule of Las Vegas history and a memorial to the many casinos and businesses that now exist only as memories. Viewable by guided tour only, you can also visit at night when some of the restored signs are illuminated.
