The Wall Street Hotel is on Wall Street, between Pearl and Water streets, in the Financial District of Lower Manhattan in New York City. Depending on traffic, it’s just under an hour’s cab ride from JFK Airport, 30 minutes from LaGuardia Airport or about 40 minutes from Newark Airport.

Financial District (FiDi) neighbourhood landmarks the September 11 Memorial & Museum, New York Stock Exchange and the Charging Bull statue are all within a 10-minute walk. The Lounge On Pearl is an elegant all-day lounge and bar decorated with chic Art Deco-inspired flair (velvet-draped double-height windows, custom-made wallpaper depicting the Manhattan skyline, animal-print sofas and saturated jewel tones). It makes a sophisticated spot for sipping morning coffee or evening cocktails. La Marchande is the hotel’s modern take on a French brasserie and has an elegant but laid-back vibe. Enjoy a seafood tower from the raw bar or miso-basted Ora King Salmon while snuggled in a plush booth or perched on a banquette. On the 15th floor, another bar with a wraparound rooftop terrace overlooks the East River.

Sustainability

The property, owned by Australian pearl producers the Paspaley family, is partnered with the Billion Oyster Project – a non-profit organisation working to restore the oyster reefs of New York Harbor. Reusable water bottles and custom-designed oyster-inspired gifts are available for purchase, with proceeds going to the project, and there’s also an option to donate at checkout.
