“We spent three days being big kids at Disneyland.” - Jenni Marr, Gold Frequent Flyer
“My friend and I used Qantas Points to upgrade to Business on my favourite plane, the A380. The champagne was a lovely welcome. We spent three days at Disneyland going on rides, watching parades and generally being big kids.
“In LA, we did the Warner Brothers back-lot tour – the Friends set-up is incredibly nostalgic. We found a fabulous neighbourhood Italian restaurant called Il Pastaio where you must order the rigatoni alla norma. It was great.”
Jenni flew Qantas from Melbourne to Los Angeles.

“The kids loved visiting the theme parks and Yosemite National Park.” - Angela Ronsisvalle, Bronze Frequent Flyer
“Each year, my extended family goes on a holiday together. Most recently, we visited the Anaheim theme parks: Disneyland, Knott’s Berry Farm, California Adventure and Six Flags. The children range in age from five to 14 and they were all in heaven.
“We stayed at Great Wolf Lodge – which is like a theme park itself with waterslides, a simulated surfing pool and kids’ yoga – and also spent an incredible three days exploring Yosemite National Park.
“It was my daughter’s birthday on our flight home and the Qantas crew surprised her with pyjamas and a travel kit. After landing, the pilot invited all the kids into the cockpit – they loved it.”
Angela and her family flew Qantas from Sydney to Los Angeles.

“We road tripped from LA to San Francisco and Santa Barbara.” - Keely Allport, Bronze Frequent Flyer
“On our first morning in LA, we set the alarm for a hike at Runyon Canyon before taking off on a road trip. We tasted wine in Paso Robles, ate enormous sandwiches at High Street Deli in San Luis Obispo and spotted the Painted Ladies from a tram in San Francisco.
“Santa Barbara was my favourite spot, with cool markets, waterfront wine at Deep Sea Tasting Room and the best tacos ever at Los Agaves. My partner and I snagged Business seats on Qantas Points – we didn’t want the flight to end!”
