Experience San Francisco's Vibrant Nightlife

The historic Fillmore is always worth checking out if you are a music lover, as are the concerts at the Nob Hill Masonic. The Nourse Theater in Hayes Valley runs a wonderful lecture series, which includes such artists as Beat/Buddhist poet Gary Snyder, writers Paul Theroux and Karen Armstrong and musician Elvis Costello. During baseball season you can go to AT&TPark at South Beach to watch the Giants play (take a jumper, it gets cold!) or just go to the Mission, eat, drink or do both while bowling at the Mission Bowling club or playing mini-golf at Urban Putt. It has a mini-golf course complete with Victorian houses rattling in an earthquake, fluorescent octopuses and a Day of the Dead hole (the food is good, too).
